Call for BoFs & Workshops at GUADEC 2025 – Now Open!

We’re excited to announce an additional call for submissions for Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions and Workshops at GUADEC 2025!

BoFs and Workshops will take place in one- or two-hour blocks on Sunday, July 27 and Monday, July 28. Whether you want to brainstorm with fellow contributors, run a hands-on session, or explore new ideas together, this is your opportunity to be part of the program.

If you’re interested in hosting a session, please fill out this form by June 15.
(Note: If you already submitted a proposal during the initial Call for Proposals, your session is already on the schedule—no need to resubmit.)

:loudspeaker: Important Notes:

  • BoFs and Workshops will not be live-streamed.
  • Sessions can be in-person
  • Virtual rooms on meet.gnome.org will be available for each track.
  • In-person hosts who want to include remote participants must provide their own laptop, camera, and microphone setup.

We can’t wait to see your ideas and make GUADEC 2025 a fun, productive, and inclusive event for everyone.
Submit your BoF or Workshop today and be part of the GNOME community’s biggest event of the year!

Thank you very much! The GUADEC schedule is looking exciting!

I noticed that I can only submit one BoF request for my account. On a second trial the form shows “You have already answered this survey”.

Hi @felipeborges

Thanks for pointing that out.

I can see two submissions from you. Do you receive the notification when you try to submit a third one? If so, I’ll take a quick look and let you know what might be causing the issue.

I can see two submissions from you.

I ended up finding a “workaround”. I submitted in separate private browser window while not logged in.

It seems the system accepts anonymous submissions and uses a cookie to keep track of those. So a new clean browser allows me to submit again (anonymously).

Multiple submissions while logged in my account don’t work tho, as they should.
