I wonder whether tear off tabs are ever coming back. This feature has been removed a couple releases back and when asked there were replies in “it’s coming back soon” manner.
But it does not seem so - sadly.
IMO this was very important feature - since Nautilus does not have split view tear off tabs were a good replacement, allowing users that need to move files between multiple folders in an organized and efficient way.
This is such a bummer for me. And quite frankly the reasoning behind the removal was a bit shaky IMO - the crash that this feature sometimes caused has been so rare that personally I’ve never encountered it.
So please, bring tear off tabs back
