Application windows open behind currently existing windows instead of opening in front

GNOME ver 3.28 is with RHEL8.8.
Does anyone know if this has been resolved in upstream ver’s?

Hi,

GNOME 3.28 has not been supported for years. Please refer to the Red Hat issue tracker instead.

As a workaround you can try switching to “GNOME (Xorg)” in the gear menu when logging in.
