Application Names in the Application Switcher

Is it possible to remove the Application Names below the Application Icon? I find the icons distinctive enough, and the text looks awkward when I have more than just a few applications open. Which happens a lot in my workflow…

If it’s not possible directly, does anyone per chance know of an extension that would remove the Application Names below the icons in the Application Switcher?

I had a look at it initially, but thought it too “heavy” for my needs. Based on your recommendation I had a proper look at it, and decided it’s really exactly what I wanted.
