Hello everyone,
We would like to announce that we’re organizing the Display/HDR hackfest Brno in the Czech Republic, April 24-26! The focus will be on the planning and development of the technical infrastructure for various features for display-next technologies, specifically those that need GNOME Shell to work in tandem with the GPU stack. One of the main examples of this is HDR support, which we know you have all been waiting for!
We already have a good number of key attendees and participants. If you think you would be a key attendee, or you would like to participate, please let me know ASAP.
JFYI, we also wrote a Fedora Magazine article with Niels de Graef and Sebastian Wick explaining what our motivation is that I think you will enjoy reading.
