Adding accounts with a bash script

Is it possible to add accounts to Geary with a bash script or any other method that can be scripted.

I have a lot of accounts I need to keep track of but only for a small period we are talking about dozens. I have all the login details local and if I could add the accounts with a script that would save me a huge amount of time.
