Adding a language to Gedit

I’m creating a language definition for a new markup language called dar which is optimized for non-Latin languages. The files I created can be found at GitHub - Zacharymk1213/dar-definition

Since I only have gtksourceview4 and gtksourceview5 on my system I copied it to the respective directories for both. Otherwise I followed these instructions and dar still doesn’t show up on Gedit. How can I fix this?

OS: Arch Linux x86_64

Hi,

You should use version="2.0" instead of version="0.1.1-beta" in the language spec.
