The GNOME Discourse forum is not a place to vent frustrations with the current state of features on Linux.
If people are willing to work on this feature, feel free to pick up the merge requests; work on UI and UX of the settings; and propose fixes and improvements. Complaining about volunteers working on what they want, as opposed of what you want, is just a massive waste of everybody’s time—the volunteers time, your time, and the time of people reading this forum and getting notified of new replies.
