Most browsers do not allow you to access the gnome decorations right-click menu, this includes firefox, chromium, and zen browser (see edit). This means that (AFAIK) there is no way to make them always on top, or always on the visible workspace. This menu also has a menu item to take a screenshot of the window, which I find quicker to use than the print screen keyboard shortcut. To solve this, I think that for any application you should be able to right-click it in the overview to open a shortened menu with a close menu button, and the options listed above (always on top, always on visible workspace, and take screenshot). This menu would also work even if the application is unresponsive, which would make it easier to force close unresponsive apps.
Edit: You can access gnome’s right click menu for firefox and zen browser by double clicking the title bar.
In Firefox you need to right click twice.

There is also super+right-click (anywhere in the window). As that’s provided by the compositor itself, it works universally for all apps.
