Hello, since the G48 update, my QT6 programs don’t scale correctly on my system.
I use the large font accessibility feature, that scales the text to 1,25. For some reason QT6 does not apply the scaling, leading to comically small text.
I am using EndeavourOS with Gnome 48.0 and i have the qt5-wayland and qt6-wayland packages installed. Wanted to see if this is somewhat common before opening a bug report, i also don’t know where this should be reported (distro, upstream, qt packages, etc.)
1.25? Why not use fractional scaling then? I’d say it’s gonna solve your problem and you won’t notice the change, coz there is option for 125% scaling. Just install Refine from flathub and enable experimental settings for fractional scaling and xwayland scaling
I didn’t know GNOME had the xwayland scaling or about the existence of Refine. Both work amazing!
The problem can get fixed with that way! Amazing workaround and i wish i heard about this sooner, thank you.
