A way to suppress extensions keybindings if already used by general settings?

I had this problem in the past, my shortcuts were not working or being inconsistent just to find out that was an extension that had the same shortcut for something else.

I see many threads in reddit with the same confusion.

This is bad to the consistency of gnome overall and it would be nice if addressed in some way.

I know that extensions are out of the scope, but they should not have this power to overcome the centralized system settings.
