the new sidebar widgets have had a few additions the last 2 weeks:

  • AdwSidebar items can now have tooltips, a context menu and a drop target
  • AdwViewSwitcherSidebar has the same search API as the regular sidebar now (:filter and :placeholder)
  • Both types of sidebars can now activate items when hovering them during a drag-n-drop operation, same as view switchers. AdwSidebarItem has API for disabling that, as sometimes it’s unwanted
