Will Lightdm break after update?

Hi,

I am new to Linux and Gnome…
For customization reasons, I have disabled GDM and enabled Lightdm…

I am currently using “gnome disk utility 40.0.1” but have an update to “40.1.1”…

Will upgrading cause any issues since GDM is disabled?

No, updating gnome-disks shouldn’t have any effect on gdm.

Keep in mind though that we only test GNOME with GDM and thus can’t really provide any further support if something stops working .
