On a fresh installation of Fedora Workstation 44 with GNOME 50, I noticed that in Settings > Sound > Alert Sound, the selected alert sound is __custom instead of None or one of the standard system sounds.
I have not changed any sound settings since installing the system, so I’m wondering why __custom is selected by default. Is this expected behavior in GNOME 50 or Fedora? What does __custom represent? Could it indicate a missing sound theme or a configuration issue?
