Unable to connect to GNOME Remote Desktop

Hi all!

I’m trying to install GNOME Remote Desktop on my bare-metal server running Arch Linux. I configured the service through the GNOME Control Panel, but fail to connect from my laptop using both Remmina and GNOME Connections.

I get the following message in the logs:

Mar 22 16:22:57 xana systemd[1]: Starting GNOME Remote Desktop...
Mar 22 16:22:57 xana gnome-remote-desktop-daemon[691]: Init TPM credentials failed because No TPM device found, using GKeyFile as fallback
Mar 22 16:22:57 xana systemd[1]: Started GNOME Remote Desktop.

Each time I try to connect, I get this:

Mar 22 15:58:49 xana gnome-remote-desktop-daemon[5017]: [RDP] Credentials are not set, denying client

According to my searches, these ‘credentials’ refer to the server credentials, not the client.

Does the lack of a TPM for my machine have something to do with it? If so, how do I fix it?

Thanks,

Sam

OK for some reason it works now. Sorry for the noise!
