In Gnome :: Settings :: Color Management I selected Add Profile, Import File…, selected an ICC file, clicked Import, and … nothing. Visiting the System Journal yielded this nugget:
2026-06-27T14:51:43-07:00 sma-station14l gnome-control-center[29800]: failed to get imported profile: The profile /home/jmoe/.local/share/icc/asus-20260626.icc already exists
Not what I expected. I then erased the file, tried again. Same result. It would seem that the source file is copied to /home/jmoe/.local/share/icc/, moves on to discover the file already exists even though it had just copied it, and quits. Thus making it impossible to add a new profile.
Am I missing something?
