Trying to change a single folder color

I’m using RHEL 10 with files 47.1.

Is there any way to create a new folder in files and change it as a custom color?

You can set a custom image as an folder icon.

If you open the properties of an folder, you can click on the icon there to change it to another image file.

If you want to recolor the folder icon:
You can find it under the path /usr/share/icons/Adwaita/scalable/places/folder.svg. Copy that file to a place in your local folder, change it’s colors with Inkscape and set it in Nautilus as the icon for your folder.
