I was wondering about adding to the terminal some sort of a configuration file instead of a menu driven Preference. Or we can have both options. In the configuration file you can put options similar to those in the menus Is it possible? I am a newbie so please forgive me if it is stupid.
I don’t know for sure but I think you can write terminal settings in ~/.config/glib-2.0/settings/keyfile
file under the [org/gnome/Terminal]
section.
Thanks for the reply mazharhussain. I was thinking about something like a local configuration file which will have configurations for a specific directory. Do you think that it can be implemented? I’ll look for the global configuration file.
I think it can be. But I also think it will be harder to implement and maintain such a thing.
In any case, it is just my opinion.
