The memory gnome-shell occupied become higher and higher

My gnome desktop always get slow and not smooth when I am watching videos，and the resource gnome-shell occupied becomes higher and higher, from less than 1G to 2.4G or higher!

Are you using extensions? Does the memory usage keep growing after disabling all the extensions and restarting your session?

Thank you for your reply! I tried to close all the extensions and things are get better！ I will try to close extensions one by one to find where the question is！

I found when I closed the “GSConnect” ，the video or the live on the Internet would play normally. And when I opened the “GSConnect”, the video would become not smooth immediately！ In addition, The problem will be more obvious after ten minutes of booting. I think I should use kdeconnect instead.
