Space bar for paging

Hi, is there a way to use the space bar in Geary to page the current message contents (and Shift-space to reverse-page)?

Which version of Geary are you using?

I’m using version 3.38.0 and what you describe works correctly.

  1. Select the conversation
  2. Click on Tab and then Space or Shift+Space. (Note: if you click Space directly a new window of Geary comes up! Never seen this before…)

Now this feature doesn’t play well with the fact that messages in a conversation are collapsed by default and cannot be expanded using a single click (see issue 872).

Yes, I noticed that space bar with message list in the focus opens a duplicate window – strange! I tried Tab and then space bar, and I can see that the message pane gets the focus, but space bar does nothing. PageUp and Down keys work. Doesn’t seem to make a difference if the message is text/plain or text/html.
