Philipp […] supports GNOME developers with design feedback and reviews, creates mockups, and coordinates efforts to standardize design patterns.
During the fellowship, Philipp will focus on increasing the visibility of design work, improving documentation, tools, and templates, and supporting the onboarding of new contributors.
This is more goods news after the already wonderful news earlier today GNOME Foundation Announces its First Fellows, with Peter Eisenmann and Sophie Herold selected as GNOME Fellows.
Congratulations also to the other recipients of the Sovereign Tech Fellowship! Too many for me to summarize but if you’re programming in Python or Rust, or using git, there’s several people working on those selected for a fellowship. Of special interest to the Linux desktop, Matthias Klumpp will work on PackageKit.
