Ruuning ubuntu mate 24.04 and Rhythmbox 3.4.7. I have an odd situation I cannot resolve. On my main machine I create a playlist and save it as an m3u file. I then delete said file from within Rhythmbox (Rbox) and close down Rbox. On reopening Rbox I then import the m3u file. The playlist appears in Rbox but there is nothing in it in terms of the list of tunes that playlist contains. (If I do the same process but save the file as a pls file then it works - the list of tracks/songs are visible). I have the same set up in a VM and it works OK - which is odd. I have deleted and reinstalled Rbox a number of times (using deb files via Synaptic), created and use a new music library but still the same. It seems there is something, or config, on my main machine that is causing this. Any help appreciated.
Hmm… just deleted everything on my main machine (Rbox wise) and installed the flatpak version. Same thing! m3u playlist imported but nothing listed.
