Request: lift new-account project-creation limit to fork a repo

Hi infrastructure team,

My GitLab account (@fabiendeloye) is hitting the anti-spam restriction when I try to fork a project:

Limit reached. You cannot create projects in your personal namespace. Contact your GitLab administrator.

Could you please lift the new-account limit on my account so I can create a fork?

I’d like to fork GNOME/NetworkManager-openvpn to open a merge request for issue #124 (OpenVPN SSO/SAML web authentication). I’ve already implemented and tested the feature and attached a patch to that issue.

Create an SSH key, following the instructions from the handbook that @tragivictoria linked, add it to your GitLab account, and wait between 10 and 20 minutes for the automation to lift the restriction.
