Request for membership in Lao (lo) team

Hello everyone,

I would like to contribute to the Lao (lo) language translations for GNOME.

I have already submitted a request to join the team on the l10n website, but my request has been pending for a long time. The team seems to be inactive.

My GNOME Account username is: bounkirdni

Could a coordinator or administrator please approve my membership so I can start contributing?

Thank you!

How exactly did you joined the language team? You should just go to l10n.gnome.org, go to Lao team and then just click “join”. You don’t need to wait for any approval, you can start translating immediately.

If you want to take over as a team Coordinator, please go to Issues ¡ Teams / Translation / Coordination ¡ GitLab and create the issue there.

@Bone_NI I see your account is already a member of the Lao team as the Translator role. No approval is needed.

However, your contributions need to be reviewed by a Reviewer and committed by a Committer.

I see that you uploaded several translation files using the Comments action. Please do not upload translation files with Comment action. In the GNOME Translation Project’s translation workflow, one must first use the ‘reserve for translation’ action and then the ‘upload translation’ action. Otherwise, a Committer or the Language Coordinator won’t be able to push translations to the source code repository (the push action won’t be available for them!).
