Reduce refresh rate on 'power-saver' profile

Hello. My laptop has a non-variable 120 hz display. I sometimes use my laptop at school, but we know intel laptops’ battery life sucks. So I always use my laptop on ‘power-saver’ profile to extend battery life while not plugged in. I believe refresh rate is a major contributor to power consumption. So I manually reduce to 60 hz if I left my power adapter back. When I get home, I play games like minecraft and I desire 120 hz, so I plug in the power and increase the refresh rate back to 120 hz.

I think this should be like android. When you enable power saving on android, it reduces the refresh rate to 60 hz.

I also manually switch my laptop’s display refresh rate between 120/60 Hz depending upon if the machine is plugged in, or not, as the lower refresh rate seems improve battery life.

It would be really nice if switching the refresh rate based on power source was automatic, because I don’t always remember to do it.
