Rebinding Caps Lock key to Ctrl in Gnome Desktop 3.36

Hi all!

In previous Ubuntu / Gnome versions I was able to use the Gnome Tweak Tool to fix this problem, there was a “Typing” tab, and under that there was an entry that gave me options to assign Caps Lock to (disable, Ctrl, etc.)

That tweak is gone near as I can tell in 3.36 and I can’t figure out how to do this. A helpful developer on Mastodon suggested using gsettings, but I’d love to know if this is still in the UI and if so where it moved.

Here’s that helpful toot

Found it and answered my own question!

You can now do this same thing in Tweaks -> Keyboard -> Additional Layout Options.

Yay so happy to have found it again, that was annoying me to tears
