I’m in Ubuntu 26.04 (GNOME 50) but I want to ensure my extension continues to work with GNOME 49. I found https://download.gnome.org/gnomeos/49.0/gnome_os_installer_49.0.iso and I figured I can run it in GNOME Boxes and install my extension. But the os doesn’t install properly. After I boot from the iso and install it, it continually starts the install wizard again. Restarting brings me to the same wizard. Re-downloaded the iso and tried again with the same result. I’m using Boxes 50.0-stable as a flatpak and I’ve set the iso to run with 4GB RAM and 40GB HDD. Anyone have any ideas?
I tried live_49.4-x86_64.iso (from https://os.gnome.org/download/stable/49/gnome_os_installer_x86_64.iso [?]) but got the same result. Installed to get the wizard presented again. Looking more like a problem with my Boxes…
I took the freedom to fix the title. I assume you meant 49, instead of 40?
