network-manager-applet. I would like to use the symbolic icons. I have them on my system (like nm-device-wired-symbolic.svg). Only these older icons are showing up tho. As you can see they look out of place next to the other symbolic icons. The blueman-applet has a little menu where I can “force symbolic icons”, but I dont see anything like that for nm-applet.
I dont know if this is worthy knowledge, but I got nm-applet version 1.36.0 from guix and it is shown running in waybar in niri. All the functionallity of nm-applet is working; only the icon is wrong.
When I run nm-applet, I get this error:
