I am attempting to submit a new user guide Bulgarian translation for epiphany to GNOME 49 on damned-lies, however, I am receiving an error related to the repository and the submission fails because of it. I receive the exact same error with gnome-boxes and gnome-software, so it’s not specific to one repository:
None of those user guides have been translated to Bulgarian before, that’s one thing they have in common. Does anybody know what the issue might be or has had it before? I can’t find anything related to it on the damned-lies gitlab or here on discourse. I’d appreciate any feedback, so that I can submit the translations.
As I indicated in the issue, from a Damned Lies perspective, I think there is nothing I can do. It’s related to the pre-receive hook that check commits coming from Damned Lies, mainly for security reasons.
I tried to submit gnome-software and gnome-clocks but they still give the following errors (the rest of the gnome apps’ documentation in my profile that are ready to be submitted give the same error):
Maybe the fix still needs time to propagate, I will try later in the day/this week and let you know how it goes! I can’t help but feel like I’m doing something wrong because I don’t know if any other translation team is having this issue, thank you for trying to resolve it!
I’m not using anything related to git so I don’t know how to provide a link although you can download the translation by pressing the “Submitted file merged with development changes” link below and this is the page where the translation is uploaded and submitted - Module Translation: gnome-software
The “Compare to: [2]” option also shows the difference between the translation revisions, but I don’t think it has anything useful related to the git submission process.
I’m selecting the “Submit to repository” action and then press “Submit”, it loads for 5-10 seconds and then it returns that error at the top of the page.
You folks are heroes! Thank you, it works perfectly now!!
I can now take care of the backlog and hopefully Bulgarian users will be happy to see them one day
