Is there a way to move the do not disturb back to the notifications panel?

Pretty much as the title says. I would like to move the do not disturb button back to the notifications panel, where it was until GNOME 49. With it in the quick settings I have an odd number of buttons there now and it just looks messy.

Perhaps there’s a dconf option for that or an extension that can do that?

Sure. Hiding or removing a quick settings toggle is something extensions can do, as well as adding additional controls to the notifications/calendar popup.
