Hi guys, I have Gnome and Wayland installed on my laptop and yesterday I attatched a 27’ 4K monitor to my laptop. The fonts are too small to see under 4k resolution and I tried scale-monitor-framebuffer and scaling. Items look bigger but they aren’t clear and sharp, just like under 1080p. So I turned to tweak -> fonts scaling and 1.5x works extremely well for me. But the items on my laptop is 1.5x at the same time, which is not expected. My question is, is it possible to set font scaling for monitors respectively?
No. It’s a setting in
org.gnome.desktop.interface and not part of the monitor configuration.
