Installed Vala using ppa on Ubuntu but got 0.48 instead of 0.50

I nstalled Vala using ppa on Ubuntu but got 0.48 instead of 0.50. I followed the instructions on this page:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Vala/ValaOnLinux

The PPA you added contains 0.48. So it’s working as expected.

The daily PPA contains newer (and unstable) versions. It currently has 0.51 for 18.04 LTS, 20.04, 20.10, 21.04.

You should probably contact the PPA maintainer if you’re after a different release there.

OK, thanks. I’d thought the ppa was for the latest stable which I thought was 0.50. But it doesn’t matter since Im learning Vala, 0.48 is fine for now.
