In GIMP3, export browser dialogue closes before really exported

(Just tried it on 3.1.4 Dev version, still the same.)

Left is 3.0.6; right is 2.10.38. One may say it’s just a force of habit from GIMP2. But couple times now, I closed the GIMP3 seeing the folder browser closed, without really saving(exporting) the file because the export setting takes 2 seconds to load. And there is >>no visual cue in between showing it’s still not done!<<

Would it be more intuitive to keep the folder browser open until the export is really finished? Just like in GIMP2 and many other programs?

IMHO not a good clue either, but at least Gimp should have popped out the dialog stating at the file hasn’t been saved? Unless you exported without making any change?
