- Gnome Session manager does not wait for windows to be closed. It just kills them. Other desktop environments wait for windows to be closed gracefully.
- Shift+Alt is supposed to switch keyboard layouts. It does not work in Gnome properly.
- Gnome Files app is slow at copying / deleting a lot of small files.
- Gnome Files app has issues in generating thumbnails for files in network folders.
- Gnome Files app is terrible when users manage files as root. Very slow copying. The app constantly is asking for the password in a few mins.
- Gnome has some issues in audio: e.g. sometimes, HDMI audio is not available. HDMI audio always works in KDE.
- Microphone level indicators don’t work on Settings app.
- Dash to panel extension does not switch windows when I drag a file over another tab window on the task panel.
- Sometimes, shutdown takes >= 1.5 minutes because some Gnome session process does not want to shutdown.
