I would like to contribute to the Lao (lo) language translations for GNOME

Hello everyone,

I would like to contribute to the Lao (lo) language translations for GNOME.

I have already submitted a request to join the team on the l10n website, but my request has been pending for a long time. The team seems to be inactive.

My GNOME Account username is: bounkirdni

Could a coordinator or administrator please approve my membership so I can start contributing?

Thank you!

Hello, new coordinator request for Lao team is already being tracked  Request to take over Lao (lo) translation team (#441) · Issues · Teams / Translation / Coordination · GitLab. Feel free to subscribe to that issue, so you can get emails.

The team seems to be inactive.

I see multiple of your translations being committed yesterday, and you got an explanation of delays from a committer in the team on the report linked above, so I would say it’s starting to look more active.

Hi Victoria and Anders,

Thank you so much for the update and for noticing my work! I am very excited to revive the Lao translation team for GNOME. I will follow the GitLab issue and am ready to take on the coordinator role to ensure the Lao localization stays active and reaches 100% completion.

I’m happy to be a part of the GNOME community!

Best regards,
Bone NI

Huh, i just realised, you’re the same person who made that issue. Why did you also posted it on Discourse?
