I think Gimp's gradient tool should be non destructive (where can I submit the suggestion)

Gimp 3.2 on Win 11.

As far as I have been able to investigate Gimp - the gradient tool can’t be re-activated when first the gradient is committed.

If I am right - where can I submit my suggestion for an upgrade?
