Since I updated my system to Debian 13 and GNOME 48, when I log out and want to log back in with my fingerprint using fprinted, it gives an authentication error when scanning the fingerprint and then it freezes and I have to restart the system. Does anyone have any ideas?
It also does the same thing when using the password but it works just fine on the first login after boot
So, the issue is also seen when logging in via Console (Ctrl + Alt + F2,..) ?
no, it logs in successfully
terminal only though (as expected)
Logs from journalctl when login fails via GUI with password could provide clues.

I found out that it works fine when I select “gnome on xorg” in the login page
