I have a laptop whose optical disk drive is malfunctioning. It receives this event every other second
clem@vaionest:~$ udisksctl monitor

This causes a little icon with a bar and an upwards pointing triangle (
) to appear on top of all current windows at the bottom of the screen, it is not a regular notification, it appears to be a special kind of popup. How do I disable this popup? If that is not possible, how do I prevent these events from being handled by the desktop environment? The popup makes the laptop unusable as it appears on top of anything I am doing.
Thank you
