I’m trying to run a borg backup to a directory mounted using WebDAV. Unfortunately, the gvfs-dav process fills up my entire RAM and swap space. Details can be found here.
I have already opened an issue in the repo. Does somebody know if the caching is configurable?

I am a computational scientist, so I am fluent in C++. Therefore I could help fixing the code if somebody can give me a starting point.
