GTK version gnome uses in their projects on gitlab

Hi there,
I will be contributing to gnome foundation from this year for gsoc 2025 can any one tell me what GTK version is used by gnome is it GTK3 or GTK4.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

The recommended version of GTK for GNOME development is GTK4.
