Gnomes Gitlab Instance Notifies Me that My Gnome GitLab account has been deactivated - But I don't remember having one even though I do have a GitLa.com account

Hello,

I am not certain this is the correct category to post this question, but I was checking emails this morning and I received one from Gnome’s GitLab instance informing me that my account was deactivated …

Your account has been deactivated for gitlab.gnome.org. You will not be able to:

Access Git repositories or the API.
Receive any notifications from GitLab.
Use slash commands.
To reactivate your account, sign in to GitLab.

Please contact your GitLab administrator if you think this is an error.

So I didn’t specifically remember creating one, and my password manager does not have a saved password, but I do have a regular GitLab account. If I try to create a Gnome GitLab account, I get a response that the email address is already being used. If I try to sign in with Google, or GitLab.com I just get returned back to the Gnome GitLab sign in. Again I’m just trying to straighten this out, maybe it’s a GitLab thing and I should direct my questions to them.

You definitely have an account and it’s marked as active, you can try logging in using github as that’s what you used to originally register your account.
