Gnome-tweaks gives a module error after update

Hi guys,

After update (Arch) gnome-tweaks won’t start and it just gives me this module error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File “/usr/bin/gnome-tweaks”, line 13, in
import gi
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘gi’

Checking out /usr/bin/python the line just requests gi module. And as far as I have been searching it is part of the libhandy which is already installed and updated, so I am kind of in dead end.

My recently update version is: gnome-tweaks-42beta+

If anyone has had a similar issue or know how to solve it I’d really appreciate it.

Adriel

You need to install python-gobject and if it still doesn’t work you may need to install gobject-introspection as well.
