Gnome Screen and are blocked

Hello,

i’m new on discouse.

I have Gnome 48.4 with linux debian 13 on a laptop lenovo W520.

Sometimes the screen is frozen and i can’t acces to the keyboard. The only way is a brutal shutdown with the power on button.

How can’i find the origin for this problem ?

What happens before your screen freeze? Anything particular that seems to trigger it?

Nothing in particular, no CPU load or full RAM. It can happen shortly after startup or long after.

Can you install Logs app and share the logs? https://flathub.org/en/apps/org.gnome.Logs

Thank’s logs is now install. I’m waiting for the next freezing and go back .

After using the laptop, at the exit of standby mode everything was frozen.

when i read the log two problems seem to be emerging

Can you remove QuodLibet from Search providers (you can find them in Settings)?

Done QuodLibet uninstall, and now i’m waiting for the next Freezing.

You didn’t need to uninstall, but oh well.

don’t use “Hide Top Bar”
