Gnome-remote-desktop Accepting Certificates

Hi,
I am trying to set up an RDP to Ubuntu 24.04 GNOME 46 Desktop using headless gnome-remote-desktop

I am using easy-rsa internally for certs.

I have created the appropriate certs and have modified GRD to point to the Cert/key

grdctl Status seems to say all is in order

However, when I RDP using Windows 11 RDP client, I get a certificate error that states the “Name in the certificate from the remote computer is GNOME.”

I get this message at various times during the login process. After which all is good.

I’m not sure where I have gone wrong.
Thanks

Try generating the certificate like this:

Or comply with SAN validation:
