After a bit of a pause in releases (a short 5 year pause), I’m going to make a new release of Gnome Genius. There are a few new strings since the last release (a few added just in the last few days). I’m planning to make the release this coming friday if all goes well.
Genius is clearly not huge priority for GNOME, and while it does have a few users, don’t worry about it too much. It is the original gnome calculator (circa 1998) and some bits of the build setup date from that time, so things might not be up to modern standards of how things are built (however things are built these days). I’m just happy it now (since 2020) builds with the newfangled GTK3, I suppose I’m waiting for GTK4 to mature ![]()
Best,
Jiri
