Gnome Commander: Translation request of program strings in main branch

Hi translation teams,

the Gnome Commander Dev team plans to release a new major version of the software in about a month (end of May 2026). We kindly request to work on translating program strings of Gnome Commander in its main branch if possible - no further changes are planned there. There might occur changes in the documentation, though.

Please leave this issue open until the release is through. I will then open a new branch (gcmd-2-0), create a new issue for setting up this branch in DL and close the issue here.
