GNOME 50 works Impressive on Arch Linux, on 2010 Netbook hardware

GNOME 50 is a huge improvement over GNOME 49, I find animations smoother, there’s less delay, and a huge performance improvement on the lock screen where the cursor doesn’t lag, even though in GNOME 49 it lags, Absolutely impressive, I haven’t found any bugs, it’s just that I can’t install some extensions because they don’t have mature support for GNOME 50.

i have had Gnome 50 on Arch for a little while i haved noticed where is some lag on the system, when i press shortcut keys it wats a few seconds before opening the applicaton and when searching on the overview it someitmes freezes hefore it comes back with a result.

What are your hardware specs?

my laptop is intel i7-1360k with 16GB ram nvme ssd

the desktop is a amd ryzen 9 5950x 128GB ram nvme ssd

they were both excellent on gome 49

Your hardware is much faster than mine, maybe GNOME 50 is faster on slower hardware

i think i will wipe the system and start over to see how it is on a fresh install
