guys, what’s going on with extensions review?
My simple metadata.json change to support gnome 50 has been hanging for a lot more than normal review time.
whereas earlier I’ve recieved reviews from the maintainer of JustPerfection very quickly.
Also visiting the unreviewed page, I see a ton of extensions that are just hanging there.
Did people suddenly got too busy with their life or something.
anyone got any ideas?

I hope JP’s safe. Latest review seems to be more than 5 weeks ago now.

Hi there, I’ve recently made an update to my gnome extension (Music Scales), and normally it gets reviewed by someone within a few days, but it’s been quite some time now waiting for review. I don’t think I can approve it myself, unless I’m mistaken? If someone with approval rights could take a look at it, I’d appreciate it: Music Scales - GNOME Shell Extensions

Every extension is looked at by a single person, so you may have to be more patient.
Okay I now know what’s up. That person is Iranian, and their regime basically cut off their internet access, so unless whoever the fuck who’s currently „controlling” the situation there won’t stop that pissfight then we’re gonna have a huge problem, in many different senses, not only GNOME-related.
OMG, that’s horrible. Please let me know if there’s any kind of support that can be offered to this person that I can participate in.
