On Arch Linux, I once said GNOME 50 was a huge performance improvement over GNOME 49, on my Toshiba NB 305, but after I updated to 50.1, why did it become so lag and slow?

There are 3 extensions, all of which have been installed since GNOME 50.0 and it’s normal, no lag
Can you measure the “lag”? Do you have any numbers?
The animations are more slow than GNOME 50.0, opening applications is a bit slower, the system response is slow, all of this happened when I updated to GNOME 50.1
