GNOME 49 not rendering icons

I am trying GNOME 49.alpha.1 and most icons won’t render as can be seen in the picture below. Some icons are still rendering fine, but there seems to be not correlation between the applications which icons are rendering correctly.

I would recommend you to file a bug to Fedora. I’m a fellow Silverblue user and I also had problems with icons, hicolor in my case tho.

Thanks for the advice. It is my first time trying a GNOME alpha release, as well as a Silverblue prerelease, so I am still a little bit confused to where I report bugs. But, as you suggested, I will try filing a bug report to Fedora.

I’d say try to report it to bugzilla.redhat.com. For silverblue-specific issues: GitHub - fedora-silverblue/issue-tracker: Fedora Silverblue issue tracker
